Its important to know, no matter what we go through Our Mother Mary, has shared our sorrows. She carried her sorrows with so much faith and hope. How I pray for the same faith and hope has I go through the many challenges am going through, especially now knowing what we love so dearly we can only hold it for a while. Thanks Mother Mary for setting a pace for us all.

I was struck today by the Gospel passage “(and a sword shall pass through your own soul also), that the thoughts out of many hearts may be revealed.” My reaction to this is – I’m included; I’m one of the many whose heartfelt thoughts have been revealed because of the sword that pierced the soul of Mary, the Mother of Jesus! Despite feeling unworthy, I am a member of the Church through Her powerful sorrow.
